Author's note:  This is written for the Long Live Ianto Non-Anniversary Challenge, using the prompt by </a></b></a>madbottoms : A crossover with Stargate, where Ianto didn't die as quick on Day Four, and it was a bit slower, and for some reason he's beamed away by SG1 or the Atlantis team, where they have a Tok'ra symbiote in need of a host.  This will give Ianto an extended life of a thousand years at least.


Summary:  The last thing Ianto Jones remembers is dying in Thames House.  But he wakes up in a UNIT holding facility with a voice in his head and an alien inhabiting his body.  Now, he has to escape and find a way off planet.

Hi, everyone!

There have been quite a few who've been asking if I was going to write any more Wizard-Verse stories.  I've always said yes, if the bunnies gave me a plot, but I  realize it's been a year and a half since the last chapter of Ways of Light and Darkness was posted, and the only thing you've seen in his universe was my short story, Perfection, which I posted back in July of last year.  I've been promising new stories for a while (one based on "Children of Earth" and another for the Long Live Ianto Big Bang, which mysteriously changed to a Dragon-Verse story) and nothing seemed to materialize.

I'm pretty sure a lot of you have given up hope of me ever coming back to this universe again, especially since the Dragon-Verse seems to have taken up all my attention.  Well, I'm here to tell you that your wait is almost over, that the bunnies have bitten and that I'm definitely coming back to this universe very soon.  In fact, I'm planning this to be the project I want to work on for WrianoJune, and that I have an outline in the works.  The working title:  The Rising Kingdom.

To tease you all a bit, I've written a small prologue that I thought would whet your appetite...
